Our ethanol unit for Audi A4 3.0 218 is made of aluminum. Its main connector is automotive-grade and resistant to water splashes, designed for use in the engine compartment. Automotive manufacturers use this type of connector to interconnect various sensors and control units.
Fuel enrichment management is controlled by a microcontroller assisted by an external temperature sensor to accurately determine fuel needs during cold starts.
When filling the tank with E5 or E10 fuel only, we have included a switch to disconnect the unit to prevent excessive fuel consumption. This switch can be easily placed inside the vehicle cabin.
The ethanol unit connects to your vehicle's injectors using connectors identical to those on your vehicle. It also connects to the battery (the wiring includes an electronic protection fuse).

Our ethanol conversion kits are European E7 certified and TÜV approved, but they do not allow you to change the vehicle's registration document in France. Only kits homologated under the November 2017 decree can do so. We do not provide a warranty on the vehicle parts; only our E85 ethanol kit is covered by a 3-year warranty.
After the first fill-up with bioethanol, you will need to replace the fuel filter, and again after 5,000 km. It is also highly recommended to perform an oil change using 100% synthetic motor oil.

3-Year Product Warranty
If you notice a malfunction with our unit, a return shipment will be arranged at our expense by providing you with a prepaid Colissimo label via email. Our technicians will then replace or repair your equipment.
