RENAULT manufactures various engine types installed across its model range, offering different power levels depending on the weight, sportiness, and trim level. This means the same engine may be found in a given model but with more or less horsepower depending on the ECU configuration.
The performance increase of a RENAULT depends on the power reserve left by the manufacturer.
For example, an engine in the base trim of a given model may be less powerful in its factory settings compared to the same engine in the sporty trim.
