Depending on the accessibility of the injectors, installing an ethanol conversion kit can be more or less straightforward. In half of the cases, it is necessary to contact a mechanic to have the kit installed. If you cannot do it yourself, installing an ethanol kit (without changing the vehicle registration) will cost you around 70€. Our ethanol conversion kit is compatible with both manual and automatic transmissions, including older and new-generation systems. This includes automatic dual-clutch transmissions such as DSG, Stronic, Tiptronic, Multitronic, DCT, BMP, and ETG. The STOP & START system, as well as the catalytic pollution control system and the particulate filter, are managed by the original ECU, and the E85 ethanol kit does not interfere with these functions.
