Depending on the accessibility of the injectors, installing an ethanol conversion kit can be more or less straightforward. This includes automatic dual-clutch transmissions such as DSG, Stronic, Tiptronic, Multitronic, DCT, BMP, and ETG. The STOP & START system, as well as the catalytic pollution control system and the particulate filter, are managed by the original ECU, and the E85 ethanol kit does not interfere with these functions.
